Hoard silver grivnas
In May, 2002 was found hoard, consisting of ingots of various types and their fragments (in quantity(amount) of 51 copies, gross weight 12002,58 g).
On the basis of their studying the following conclusions are made:
1) Subjects are the silver payment ingots having circulation in Russia in XI-XV;
2) Ingots belong to a uniform complex and share on 2 big groups:
I - flat cakes "Kama" silver (bulgar type) - 19 copies;
II – Tchernigov’s (nordrussia, by N.F.Kotljara's definition, 1996) type 32 of copy,
In turn, share on 2 subgroups: romb (23 copies -N 50 and 51 are
Fragments of one ingot) and extended forms with the rounded ends (8 copies). (the Description of each of payment ingots and their images are placed on 18 pages).
These types of payment ingots, being the earliest (alongside with Novgorod and Kiev), begin to occur with the end XI in. Serve large payments in rather extensive territory of medieval Russia. Hoards with Tchernigov’s ingots and ingots - flat cakes also are met behind its(her) limits - in Kama (Perm), and also in Poland and on about. Gotland (on about. Gotland together with flat cakes Kama silver).
On prominent features of surfaces and weight characteristics all ingots are typical for the specified types of payment ingots of medieval Russia and do not cause doubts in the authenticity, and the complex as a whole may be dated XII in.
The complex has big scientific and a historical value and is of interest for museum assembly.
